Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents in real-time using SIEM tools.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Manage firewall rules and ensure network segmentation best practices are followed.
- Document security incidents, investigations, and remediation steps for compliance reporting.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security patches and software updates.
- Provide security awareness training and guidance to internal staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in network security, incident response, or SOC operations.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, networking protocols, and common attack vectors.
- Proficiency with security tools such as Splunk, FireEye, or CrowdStrike.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
