Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate potential security incidents and coordinate response protocols
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing exercises
- Implement and maintain security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Document security incidents and prepare detailed incident reports
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST and CIS standards
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Cybersecurity or related field (or equivalent experience)
- CompTIA Security+ or CEH certification preferred
- 1+ years of hands-on security operations experience
- Proficiency in network security tools (Wireshark, Nmap)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
