Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for threat detection
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Develop and maintain security documentation including incident response plans
- Assist in implementing zero-trust architecture and access controls
- Collaborate with IT teams on security awareness training programs
- Investigate security incidents and coordinate remediation efforts
- Ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and PCI DSS standards
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with focus on threat detection
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification (preferred)
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and network analysis
- Knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure) and zero-trust models
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain one
