Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor security systems and SIEM platforms for suspicious activity and potential threats.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on internal networks.
- Respond to security incidents and assist in the recovery process.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement security patches and updates.
- Generate and analyze security reports to identify trends and improve protocols.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in information security or network administration.
- Strong knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
- Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, LogRhythm).
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
