Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Automate deployment processes and infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Monitor system performance, health, and security, proactively addressing potential issues before they impact end-users.
- Collaborate with software development teams to integrate cloud services into CI/CD pipelines.
- Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and patch management to maintain compliance.
- Document architecture, configurations, and operational procedures for knowledge transfer.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or Systems Administrator with a focus on cloud technologies.
- Strong proficiency in AWS, Azure, or GCP services, including compute, storage, and networking.
- Expert knowledge of Linux operating systems and scripting languages (Bash, Python, or PowerShell).
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, security best practices, and disaster recovery planning.
