Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage secure cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure.
- Automate provisioning and configuration management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement optimization strategies.
- Enforce security best practices and compliance standards (SOC2, HIPAA) within the cloud environment.
- Collaborate with software developers to integrate cloud services into application architectures.
- Conduct cost analysis and implement strategies to optimize cloud spending.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering or systems administration.
- Strong proficiency in Linux/Unix environments and scripting languages (Python, Bash).
- Certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect or Azure Administrator are highly preferred.
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote/part-time capacity.
