Responsibilities
- Execute manual and automated test scripts to ensure software functionality meets business requirements.
- Identify, document, and prioritize software defects (bugs) using JIRA and defect tracking tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to troubleshoot issues and verify fixes.
- Perform regression testing on new builds to maintain product stability and prevent regressions.
- Generate detailed test reports and analyze test results to provide actionable insights.
- Participate in code reviews and stand-up meetings to stay aligned with project goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to pay close attention to detail and spot discrepancies in complex systems.
- Strong logical and analytical thinking skills with a methodical approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for writing clear bug reports and collaborating with developers.
- Willingness to complete intensive training and learn new technologies quickly.
