As a key member of our engineering team, you'll develop scalable cloud applications using microservices architecture, contribute to our DevOps automation pipeline, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver mission-critical systems. Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust backend services using Java, Python, and Node.js
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Optimize system performance and troubleshoot complex production issues
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Implement security best practices and compliance standards (SOC2, ISO 27001)
- Contribute to architectural decisions for scalable cloud infrastructure
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in software development with night shift preference
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven design
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Strong communication skills with ability to collaborate across time zones
- Relevant certifications (AWS, Azure, or Kubernetes) preferred
