Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS/GCP
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices for 24/7 operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact software features
- Optimize system performance and troubleshoot complex production issues
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical documentation
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and drive code quality initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in backend development (Java/Python/Go)
- Expertise in microservices architecture and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and messaging queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ)
- Proven experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins/GitLab CI) and IaC (Terraform)
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours (10 PM - 6 AM PST)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
