Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices architecture for high-traffic platforms
- Optimize system performance for 24/7 global user base
- Lead CI/CD pipeline improvements using GitLab and Jenkins
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across 3 time zones
- Mentor junior engineers during handover periods
- Conduct post-incident reviews and implement preventive measures
- Drive automation for monitoring and alerting systems
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in distributed systems development
- Expertise in Go, Python, or Java with cloud-native patterns
- Proficiency with Kubernetes, Terraform, and AWS/Azure services
- Strong background in CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code
- Excellent problem-solving skills with production debugging experience
- Ability to thrive in autonomous night shift environments
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
