Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Java, Python, and Go
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement API integrations and microservices architecture
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot complex production issues
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements and DevOps best practices
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical documentation
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint planning ceremonies
- Implement security best practices and conduct vulnerability assessments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of professional software development experience
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices patterns
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI)
- Ability to work independently during night shifts with minimal supervision
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills for remote collaboration
