Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance software systems supporting defense applications
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for continuous deployment
- Conduct rigorous code reviews and security audits for mission-critical components
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical specifications
- Maintain and optimize legacy systems while introducing modern architecture patterns
- Document technical specifications and create comprehensive API documentation
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and retrospectives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of professional software development experience with Java/C++/Python
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization technologies
- Strong understanding of RESTful API development and microservices architecture
- Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins/GitLab)
- Ability to obtain DoD security clearance (required for certain projects)
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and security best practices
- Strong communication skills with ability to work collaboratively across teams
