Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-performance microservices using Python, Java, or Go
- Optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP for 24/7 operational excellence
- Lead CI/CD pipeline automation and DevOps best practices
- Collaborate with global teams using Agile methodologies
- Troubleshoot complex production issues during peak traffic hours
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming sessions
- Contribute to open-source projects and technical documentation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with cloud-native applications
- Expertise in at least one modern programming language (Python/Java/Go)
- Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and serverless architecture
- Proven experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI)
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours with minimal supervision
- Excellent problem-solving skills for distributed systems debugging
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
