Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy high-performance microservices using cloud-native architectures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Optimize system performance through advanced profiling, debugging, and A/B testing
- Maintain security best practices and implement robust data protection protocols
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical documentation
- Drive innovation through experimental prototyping and emerging technology adoption
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in distributed systems and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Expert proficiency in at least two backend languages (Python, Go, Java, or Node.js)
- Strong foundation in containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and orchestration
- Proven track record of building RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures
- Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack)
- Ability to thrive in autonomous night shift environments with async communication
- Relevant degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
