Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy scalable backend services using Node.js and Python
- Optimize database performance and implement cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams via Slack/Jira during evening stand-ups
- Debug and resolve production issues during off-peak hours with 24/7 monitoring tools
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements for nightly deployment cycles
- Mentor junior engineers through virtual pair programming sessions
- Document code and architecture using Confluence and Swagger
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in backend development with JavaScript/Python
- Proficiency with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and Docker
- Strong problem-solving skills for complex system debugging
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and CI/CD tools
- Ability to work independently during night shifts with minimal supervision
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
