Responsibilities
- Design and implement distributed microservices using Go and Kubernetes
- Optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP for 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Lead CI/CD pipeline automation with Jenkins and Terraform
- Develop real-time data processing pipelines using Kafka and Spark
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming sessions
- Contribute to open-source projects used by Fortune 500 companies
- Conduct post-incident reviews and system architecture improvements
Qualifications
- 5+ years backend development experience with Python/Java/Go
- Expertise in cloud-native architecture (Docker, Kubernetes, Serverless)
- Strong fundamentals in data structures and algorithms
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD)
- Knowledge of distributed systems and CAP theorem tradeoffs
- Previous night shift or flexible schedule experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
