Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance software applications using modern frameworks and languages
- Collaborate with product managers and UX designers to translate requirements into technical specifications
- Debug, test, and optimize code for performance and security in a Linux-based environment
- Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, retrospectives, and code reviews
- Document technical processes and create comprehensive API documentation
- Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge within the team
- Monitor system health and respond to production issues during night shift hours
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of professional software development experience with Java/Python/JavaScript
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Ability to work independently and solve complex problems with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset
- Willingness to work night shift (10 PM - 6 AM) with competitive shift differential pay
