Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy scalable backend services using Java/Python
- Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP during overnight operations
- Collaborate with global teams via Slack and Jira for seamless handovers
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement real-time fixes
- Automate deployment pipelines using Docker and Kubernetes
- Document system architecture and create technical runbooks
- Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning (remote-friendly)
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in backend development
- Proficiency in Java, Python, or Node.js
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/GCP preferred)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent problem-solving skills under pressure
- Relevant degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Night shift availability (10 PM - 6 AM PST)
