Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js and Python
- Collaborate with global teams to deploy and monitor production systems during off-peak hours
- Lead code reviews and contribute to CI/CD pipeline optimizations
- Debug and resolve complex production issues with minimal supervision
- Develop automated testing frameworks to ensure system reliability
- Participate in agile ceremonies and sprint planning aligned with night shift schedule
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and knowledge sharing sessions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience with backend development (Node.js/Python preferred)
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and container orchestration
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar)
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours (6 PM - 6 AM CST)
