Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable microservices using Java and Python
- Optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS for 99.99% uptime SLA
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Docker and Kubernetes
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers during shift overlap
- Collaborate with global teams across time zones via async communication
- Resolve production incidents within SLA timeframes
- Contribute to 24/7 on-call rotation (rotating with day shift team)
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java/Python
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization
- Proven track record of building high-throughput APIs
- Experience with night shift or 24/7 operational environments
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Strong problem-solving skills with distributed systems
- CI/CD pipeline implementation experience
