Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-native applications using Java/Python
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile sprints to deliver high-quality code
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated testing infrastructure
- Troubleshoot and optimize system performance in 24/7 production environments
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct peer code reviews
- Document technical specifications and API integrations
- Participate in on-call rotations for critical systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in backend development with Java/Python
- Proficiency with AWS/GCP services and microservices architecture
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and database design
- Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and CI/CD tools
- Ability to work independently during night shifts with minimal supervision
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
