Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance microservices using Java/Python
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/AWS)
- Lead incident response during business hours with 24/7 on-call rotation
- Optimize database performance and troubleshoot complex system issues
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Document architecture decisions and technical specifications
- Collaborate with global teams across time zones
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Proficiency in backend technologies (Node.js, Spring Boot, or Django)
- Strong understanding of containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Datadog/Prometheus)
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- CI/CD pipeline implementation experience
