Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable backend systems supporting high-traffic applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement API integrations and microservices
- Optimize database performance and troubleshoot complex system issues during peak hours
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers on agile development practices
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and maintain infrastructure-as-code solutions
- Contribute to security audits and compliance initiatives for enterprise clients
- Document technical specifications and create API documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java/Python
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Proficiency in SQL databases and NoSQL solutions
- Experience with Git-based version control and CI/CD workflows
- Ability to work independently during night shifts with minimal supervision
- Relevant certifications (AWS/Azure, Kubernetes) preferred
