- Develop and maintain high-availability backend systems supporting real-time data processing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across global timezones
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native architectures (AWS/Azure)
- Optimize performance for low-latency global APIs
- Mentor junior engineers through night-shift knowledge sharing sessions
- Lead incident response during off-peak hours
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in distributed systems and microservices
- Expert proficiency in Python, Java, or Go
- Strong background in cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI)
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Ability to thrive in autonomous, night-shift environments
