Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable microservices using Go and Python
- Optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP for 24/7 system reliability
- Lead incident response during overnight production cycles
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming sessions
- Automate CI/CD pipelines using Terraform and Jenkins
- Contribute to open-source projects aligned with company initiatives
- Participate in agile ceremonies during overlapping business hours
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in backend development (Node.js/Java preferred)
- Expertise in distributed systems and cloud architecture
- Proven night shift or remote-first collaboration experience
- Strong knowledge of containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Proficiency in observability tools (Prometheus/Grafana)
- CS degree or equivalent practical experience
- Ability to work independently during core overnight hours (11PM-7AM)
