Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across SIEM platforms during overnight hours
- Investigate and respond to security incidents with rapid containment protocols
- Conduct forensic analysis of malware and intrusion attempts
- Generate comprehensive incident reports and threat intelligence briefings
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during major security events
- Maintain and optimize security tool configurations for 24/7 coverage
- Participate in continuous improvement of security operations procedures
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with focus on SOC operations
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and IDS/IPS systems
