Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN networks including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and PRTG
- Resolve network outages and security incidents within SLA timelines
- Document network topology, configurations, and standard operating procedures
- Collaborate with cloud services teams to hybrid network environments
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex network issues
- Implement network security protocols (VPNs, ACLs, firewalls)
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNA/CCNP certification or equivalent industry credentials
- Proficiency in Cisco, Juniper, and Arista network hardware
- Expertise in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLAN configuration
- Experience with network automation (Python, Ansible)
- Strong troubleshooting skills using Wireshark and ping tools
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in elevated server environments
- Valid Nevada driver's license for client site visits
