Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and other data communications systems.
- Troubleshoot network hardware and software issues to ensure minimal downtime.
- Perform regular network audits to ensure system integrity and security.
- Manage and document network changes, configurations, and upgrades.
- Collaborate with IT management to plan and implement network expansions.
- Provide technical support to end-users regarding network connectivity and hardware peripherals.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Valid Network+ or CCNA certification is preferred.
- Proven experience in network installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and VLANs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and move network equipment (up to 50 lbs) when necessary.
