Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN) to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor network traffic and security systems to prevent downtime and cyber threats.
- Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and patch management on routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Respond to and resolve technical support tickets and user inquiries regarding network connectivity.
- Document network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures accurately.
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement new hardware and software solutions.
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies and industry standards.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent professional experience.
- Valid CCNA or Network+ certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in network administration or technical support.
- Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, subnetting, and routing protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with non-technical staff.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
