Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using diagnostic tools and optimize bandwidth allocation
- Troubleshoot network outages and implement proactive solutions to minimize downtime
- Document network configurations, changes, and maintenance procedures
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement cybersecurity measures and access controls
- Support cloud integration and virtualization technologies
- Train end-users on network usage best practices
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Network Administration or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of hands-on network infrastructure experience
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification preferred
- Proficiency with Cisco routers, Juniper switches, and Palo Alto firewalls
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and VLAN protocols
- Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG)
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to work under pressure
- Valid Ohio driver's license for occasional site visits
