Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and PRTG
- Resolve network outages and security incidents with SLA compliance
- Document network topology, configurations, and procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on cloud migration projects
- Implement network security protocols (VPNs, IDS/IPS, ACLs)
- Conduct regular network audits and vulnerability assessments
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for complex network issues
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in enterprise network administration
- CCNA or equivalent certification required (CCNP preferred)
- Proficiency with Cisco IOS/NX-OS and Juniper Junos
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VLANs
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud networks (AWS/Azure)
- Ability to work flexible hours including on-call rotation
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Valid North Carolina driver's license for occasional site visits
