Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Nagios
- Troubleshoot network issues and implement security protocols
- Document network changes and maintain accurate system diagrams
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless connectivity across sites
- Support VoIP systems and wireless network optimization
- Conduct regular network audits and vulnerability assessments
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in network administration
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency with Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto devices
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN protocols
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS/Azure) preferred
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including on-call rotations
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
