Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and wireless networks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, including routing, switching, and connectivity problems.
- Perform regular network audits and security checks to ensure compliance and data protection.
- Manage and configure routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking hardware.
- Document network architecture, configurations, and changes for future reference.
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement network upgrades and scalability solutions.
- Provide technical support and training to junior staff and end-users.
Qualifications
- Certification in Cisco (CCNA) or equivalent is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in network administration or related field.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, and network protocols.
- Experience with network security best practices and firewalls.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Physical ability to lift equipment and work in server rooms.
