Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot local and wide area network (LAN/WAN) hardware and software.
- Perform physical cabling tasks, including fiber and copper termination, and rack-and-stack server equipment.
- Monitor network performance to ensure high availability and minimal downtime.
- Configure and manage network security devices, including firewalls and VPNs.
- Conduct network audits and maintain accurate documentation of network diagrams and configurations.
- Provide exceptional onsite technical support and training to clients.
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification preferred.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching protocols.
- Experience with network hardware (Cisco, Juniper, Aruba) and cabling standards.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environments (including attics and crawl spaces).
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
