Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and PRTG
- Resolve network outages and security incidents with SLA-driven response times
- Document network architecture changes and create technical diagrams
- Collaborate with cloud teams on hybrid infrastructure deployments
- Implement VLAN segmentation and access control policies
- Perform network capacity planning and optimization
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency in Cisco IOS/NX-OS and Juniper Junos
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN protocols
- Experience with network automation (Python/Ansible preferred)
- Ability to work flexible hours including on-call rotation
- Valid Washington State driver's license for site visits
