Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco/Juniper network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using SolarWinds and Wireshark to ensure optimal uptime
- Implement VLANs, VPNs, and security protocols across hybrid cloud environments
- Document network changes using Visio and ServiceNow ticketing systems
- Collaborate with cloud engineers on AWS/Azure integration projects
- Provide Tier 3 support for enterprise network incidents
- Conduct network vulnerability assessments and remediation
- Train junior staff on network best practices
Qualifications
- 3+ years of enterprise network administration experience
- CCNA/CCNP or equivalent certification required
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and MPLS protocols
- Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls and Fortinet systems
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong scripting skills in Python/Ansible for automation
- Ability to work rotating on-call schedules
- Valid Missouri driver's license for occasional site visits
