Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN systems including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using SolarWinds and Cisco Prime tools
- Resolve network outages and security incidents within SLA timeframes
- Document network topology, configurations, and incident reports
- Collaborate with cloud teams on hybrid cloud architecture implementations
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and patch management
- Provide Tier-3 support for complex network issues
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency in Cisco IOS/NX-OS and Juniper Junos
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VPNs, and BGP/OSPF protocols
- Experience with network automation tools (Python/Ansible preferred)
- Ability to lift 30 lbs for equipment installations
- Valid Texas driver's license for on-site visits
- Bachelor's degree in IT or related field preferred
