Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using SolarWinds and manage network security protocols
- Document network configurations and create disaster recovery plans
- Provide Tier 2-3 technical support for network issues and end-user requests
- Implement VLANs, VPNs, and wireless networks with WPA3 encryption
- Collaborate with cloud engineers on hybrid cloud integration projects
- Conduct regular network audits and security vulnerability assessments
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Network Engineering or 3+ years equivalent experience
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency in Cisco IOS/NX-OS and Juniper Junos
- Experience with SD-WAN solutions (Cisco Viptela, VMware SD-WAN)
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and SNMP protocols
- Familiarity with AWS/Azure networking services
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with network analyzers (Wireshark, PRTG)
