Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using advanced tools and troubleshoot connectivity issues
- Implement security protocols to protect network integrity against cyber threats
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy new network technologies
- Document network configurations, changes, and maintenance procedures
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support to resolve complex network incidents
- Conduct regular network audits and optimize system performance
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Computer Science or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in network administration and infrastructure support
- CompTIA Network+ or CCNA certification required
- Proficiency with Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto Networks equipment
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN protocols
- Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG)
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional on-call duties
- Excellent problem-solving skills and customer service orientation
