Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs) across multiple sites.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot network connectivity issues, cable faults, and hardware malfunctions efficiently.
- Perform regular network audits and security assessments to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Assist in the design and implementation of network upgrades, including VoIP and wireless infrastructure.
- Document network topology, configurations, and changes using standard ticketing and documentation tools.
- Provide Tier 2 support to internal users and assist with end-user device configuration.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
- Valid CCNA, CCNA Security, or equivalent certification is highly desired.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in network administration or system support.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and subnetting.
- Ability to lift and carry networking equipment (up to 50 lbs) and work in various physical environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical staff.
