Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and wireless infrastructure.
- Monitor network performance and proactively troubleshoot hardware and software issues to ensure minimal downtime.
- Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs to ensure data security.
- Perform regular cable management, network audits, and infrastructure upgrades.
- Collaborate with the IT Help Desk to resolve escalated user connectivity issues.
- Document network diagrams, configurations, and technical procedures.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification is highly desirable.
- Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols.
- Experience with remote access technologies (VPN, SSH, RDP).
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for site maintenance.
