Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance and proactively resolve connectivity issues
- Document network configurations, topologies, and security protocols
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement network upgrades and security patches
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for network-related incidents
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., NIST, CIS)
- Optimize network efficiency through traffic analysis and capacity planning
- Lead disaster recovery testing and network redundancy initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNA/CCNP or equivalent industry certification required
- Proficiency in Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto Networks technologies
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN protocols
- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios)
- Ability to create and maintain network documentation
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
