You will work closely with our systems engineering team to deploy, manage, and troubleshoot complex network environments.</p>
Responsibilities
- <ul><li>Design, install, configure, and maintain local and wide-area networks (LAN/WAN) using Cisco, Juniper, or similar hardware.</li><li>Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, performance bottlenecks, and hardware failures with minimal downtime.</li><li>Implement and manage firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems to ensure data security.</li><li>Document network topology, configurations, and standard operating procedures for team reference.</li><li>Perform regular network audits and updates to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.</li><li>Provide technical support and guidance to internal staff regarding network connectivity and usage.</li><li>Collaborate with vendors and third-party service providers for network upgrades and maintenance.</li></ul>
Qualifications
- <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.</li><li>Valid Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or higher certification is strongly preferred.</li><li>Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in network administration or IT support.</li><li>Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, subnetting, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP), and switching technologies.</li><li>Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting network devices such as routers, switches, and access points.</li><li>Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios) and ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow).</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.</li></ul>
