Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, and wireless access points
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and PRTG
- Implement security protocols including VPNs, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems
- Document network infrastructure changes and create technical documentation
- Collaborate with cloud teams to hybridize on-premise and cloud solutions
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for network outages and performance issues
- Conduct regular network audits and vulnerability assessments
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in enterprise network administration
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency with TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VLAN configurations
- Experience with network automation tools (Ansible, Python)
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity best practices
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including on-call rotation
- Excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills
