Responsibilities
- Design, install, configure, and maintain local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN).
- Perform routine network audits, network analysis, and generate detailed reporting.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot complex connectivity issues to ensure optimal uptime.
- Manage firewall configurations and implement security protocols to protect data integrity.
- Collaborate with the IT support team to resolve technical tickets and assist end-users.
- Document network architecture, configurations, and changes for future reference and compliance.
- Assist in the procurement and deployment of new network hardware and equipment.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Valid Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or CompTIA Network+ certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of professional experience in network administration or technical support.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols, switching, VLANs, and subnetting.
- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark) and scripting is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a hybrid environment.
