Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls) across hybrid environments
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and PRTG, proactively identifying bottlenecks
- Diagnose and resolve complex network issues with 99.9% uptime SLA adherence
- Implement and maintain security protocols including VPNs, ACLs, and intrusion prevention systems
- Document network changes, configurations, and standard operating procedures
- Collaborate with cloud providers (AWS/Azure) for hybrid infrastructure optimization
- Provide Tier 3 support escalation for critical network incidents
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience with Cisco/Juniper equipment
- CCNA/CCNP certification or equivalent demonstrable expertise
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VLAN configuration
- Strong understanding of network security best practices (firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Experience with network automation tools (Ansible, Python) preferred
- Ability to work independently in remote environments with minimal supervision
- Excellent written communication skills for remote collaboration
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
