Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs).
- Perform daily network monitoring and troubleshooting to ensure high availability and performance.
- Assist in the deployment of network hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls, and cabling infrastructure.
- Respond to and resolve network connectivity issues and technical support tickets in a timely manner.
- Document network configurations, changes, and issues for future reference and compliance.
- Collaborate with the IT team to plan and execute network upgrades and security patches.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Information Technology or related field is a plus.
- Willingness to participate in our comprehensive paid training program to obtain industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, Network+).
- Basic understanding of network protocols, hardware components, and cabling standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-centric attitude.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends or evenings for maintenance.
