Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Perform physical network cabling, termination, and testing for both copper and fiber optic connections.
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues and hardware malfunctions efficiently.
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN).
- Maintain accurate documentation of network diagrams, configurations, and asset inventories.
- Provide technical support to end-users regarding network access and troubleshooting.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in IT is a plus.
- Basic computer literacy and understanding of how computers communicate.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various client sites in the Toledo area.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environments (confined spaces, outdoors).
- Excellent communication skills and a desire to pursue a long-term career in technology.
