Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using industry-standard tools (SolarWinds, Nagios)
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues and implement security protocols
- Document network topology and create maintenance reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during system upgrades
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for enterprise clients
- Participate in on-call rotation for critical incidents
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to complete paid training program (40 hours/week)
- CompTIA Network+ certification or equivalent knowledge
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in server environments
