Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain enterprise network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls)
- Diagnose and resolve network outages using diagnostic tools and protocols
- Implement network security measures to protect against threats
- Document network configurations and create technical documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects
- Monitor network performance using SNMP and monitoring tools
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for network-related issues
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, OSI model)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
- Willingness to obtain Cisco CCNA certification during training
- Valid driver's license for occasional client site visits
